Literary Luncheon in aid of MIND

19th July 2018/0 Comments/in Events, Locations /by Sarah

Another favourite haunt of mine – has been for over 30 years – is The Belmont House Hotel, New Walk, Leicester. Nowadays also basecamp for The Belmont Belles, the Leicester chapter of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, organised by my goodly writing chums Lizzie Lamb & June Kearns.

Lizzie and I like to host a charity event every year and this year we held a Literary Luncheon in aid of MIND. Over 40 likeminded ladies gathered for fun, fizz and literary frolics as we chatted about our writing careers – currently 10 books between us in less than six years – and how to make your dreams come true.

Our wonderfully generous guests helped us raise £300 for MIND, which we delivered personally to our nearest MIND shop on Queens Road in Leicester.

Watch out for details of our next event!
